Design your own corner sofa to suit any space

Why choose a MYCS corner sofa?

The corner sofa is the perfect combination of form and function. Whether you place it in the centre of your room, against a wall, or in a corner, it automatically creates a cosy and self-contained living room space, especially when combined with some blankets and a low coffee table to really set the scene. Or for a less informal setting, corner sofas provide the extra seating space to welcome guests into your office while still providing both comfort and style. What makes MYCS sofas different is that they’re entirely customisable and of the highest quality. Choose from our vast range of materials in an endless variety of colours and textures, pick the dimensions that best fit your home, and decide how many seats your sofa should have to fit your needs. You can also create a modular corner sofa bed, giving you an extra place to accommodate your overnight guests. Even better: as MYCS furniture is modular, you can add more modules to your sofa at a later date, so that if your household grows, then so can your couch.

Which material should I choose for my corner sofa?

We offer a wide range of high quality fabrics in a vast palette of colours - whether you’d like your corner sofa in navy, black, red, yellow, or even bright pink, there’s a fabric in our range that matches your style and needs. Choose a sleek and simple black fabric corner sofa to complete a sophisticated Scandinavian-style living room. Opt for yellow velvet to add a unique pop to boho chic decor. Or mix and match shades of navy blue or grey for a refined yet individual centerpiece for your lounge. The choices and combinations are endless.

What size sofa should I choose?

Our online configurator allows you to choose the dimensions of every aspect of your corner sofa. Before getting stuck into designing, it’s best to decide where your sofa will eventually be placed in your home and to measure how much space will be available there, so that you have an idea of the maximum length and width possible. Looking for a two-seater corner sofa? An extra large one? Or maybe just something in the middle? Our online configurator makes it easy to specify the size and number of seats you’d like, as small as 80cm with space just for one or two, or as large as several metres to accommodate big groups of friends or family. This is one of the many benefits of creating a modular corner sofa - it can be as large or as small as you like, and can be adjusted easily according to your needs.

How should I style my corner sofa?

When it comes to the placement of your sofa in your room, often space dictates that it must be placed against a wall. In larger rooms, though, your sofa can be placed in the centre of the room to create a separation, which is especially useful if your living space is open plan and also functions as your dining room or kitchen. By pairing your corner sofa with a big rug and a large coffee table, you can visually differentiate your lounge area from the dining or kitchen space. Since you’ll spend a decent amount of time sitting on your sofa, it’s wise to orient it towards the best view. It’s best not to place sofas with their back to a window if it can be avoided - not only will you miss out on the view outside, but you’ll also obstruct the light coming into the room. Your corner sofa should also be placed in a position that doesn’t interrupt the flow of people around the room. Creating separate living areas is ideal, but creating blockages and making it tough to move around the room is not!
