Individual designs
What makes our shelves unique is their simple, minimalist, and timeless style. Our high-quality lacquers in a vast range of colours add a special touch to your design. You can combine colours yourself in our configurator, or get some personalised advice on colour combinations from our interior designers, who would be happy to help.
Extras, extras, extras
You can customise your design even further by adding doors and drawers. The solid wood door and drawer fronts stay minimalist thanks to the push-to-open system with no handles, or discreet metal handles that preserve the simple style. Keep your shelf sleek with flush-mounted front panels in a choice of beech, oak or walnut, then choose from five different leg designs to further refine the overall look of your furniture.

Custom sideboards that truly reflect your style

What is a sideboard and how big should it be?

Sideboards are one of our most popular pieces. And it’s no wonder, as they combine design and functionality like no other. A variation on the classic chest of drawers, the modern sideboard is incredibly versatile. It offers a chic alternative to a chest of drawers and even works well in the dining room. Our white sideboards are a popular option for this, as their timeless, modern design creates a clean finish that complements any room.
A sideboard is a practical addition to almost any room. In the living room, it has replaced the classic dresser, accommodating TV display and practical storage in one stylish piece. In the kitchen, a sideboard adds extra space for anything from simply displaying ornaments to storing crockery and cutlery. It’s also an increasingly popular choice for the hallway, replacing the traditional chest of drawers as the perfect place to store scarves and umbrellas and stash your keys. And its size is as varied as its function. Sideboards are usually between 70 and 100cm tall. They are a larger alternative to the ca. 40cm lowboard, but are less imposing than a highboard, which is slowly replacing traditional cupboards.

How can I customise my sideboard using the configurator?

Our online configuration tool guides you through the whole process of creating your perfect sideboard. This step-by-step approach enables you to choose the dimensions, materials and colours of your new piece all from the comfort of your own home. And the convenience of designing your own custom furniture doesn’t come at a cost to the environment: all of our furniture is produced by well-established European manufacturers, while our real wood varnishes are all FSC certified. Likewise, our lacquers were produced especially for furniture and are accordingly certified.
Alongside the broad range of colours available, you also have a choice of five different leg styles for your piece of furniture. There’s a style to suit everyone, from our Scandinavian-inspired round NORDYC legs to our minimalist-friendly LYFT feet and mobile SPYN castors for those who favour mobile design.
Our sideboards are fitted with push-to-open doors as standard for a pared-back feel. We also offer models with handles, however, with an elegant soft-close function. If it’s important for your design to sit flush with the wall, we also offer skirting board cut outs for a truly seamless finish. And one final design tip: create elegant accents with contrasting back panels for the open shelves of your sideboard. As our sideboards are composed of several smaller back panels rather than one large panel, you can create playful pops of colour in the open shelves to help your piece harmonise with the colour scheme of your room.
